Silver Alert Cancelled For Missing Maryland Man (Update)

UPDATE: Police said Eric William Swartz was located safe and unharmed on Wednesday, May 25.

A Silver Alert has been issued for a missing man from Montgomery County, the Maryland Center for Missing and Unidentified Persons (MCMUP) said. 

Eric William Swartz, 70, was last seen in the 3200 block of Ferndale Street in Kensington around around 9 a.m. on Sunday, May 22, Montgomery County Police said.

Swartz is described as a White male, standing about 5'8," weighing 165 pounds with brown/grey hair and brown eyes. It is unknown was kind of clothing he was last seen wearing.

Authorities believe Swartz is driving a black 2017 Toyota Avalon four door with Maryland tag 2CV7753. Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 301-279-8000 or 911.
